Clear, satin wood finish, based on natural oil, is designed for outdoor wood applications. Its microporous surface enables the wood to breathe, minimising swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, it remains resistant to cracking, peeling, or flaking. When used as a top coat on previously treated wood, Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra significantly extends renovation intervals. In a single application, it blocks the greying process on vertical surfaces with a UV protection factor 12 in comparison to untreated wood when two coats are applied.

Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra includes active ingredients to shield the coating from mould, algae, and fungal attacks. Simply apply without sanding. Easy and seamless application, with the finish remaining workable during coating.

Ideal for all vertical wood surfaces in outdoor areas, Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra is recommended for doors, windows, dimensionally stable window shutters, carports, timber cladding, balconies, fences, pergolas, and summer houses (dimensionally unstable elements). It is also suitable for bamboo poles.
